A versatile player, Novak Djokovic has won five Grand Slam titles, including three in a superlative 2011 season that saw him capture 10 tournament titles overall, post an ATP-best 70-6 record and seize the No. 1 ranking. In 2012, The world No. 1 added to his legacy in fighting back from a 2-4 fifth-set deficit to defeat Rafal Nadal, 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7 (5), 7-5, and capture his third Australian Open championship in the longest Grand Slam final in history — a five hour, 53-minute epic. It was Djokovic's seventh straight win over Nadal and came after his five-set triumph over Andy Murray in the semifinals, marking the first time he had won back-to-back five-set matches.
